Q. How long has Big K Brand Clothing been in business?
A. We have been manufacturing safety work clothes and rain wear for the past 35 years. We are located in beautiful Vancouver, B. C. Canada.

Q. Do we sell directly to the end users?

A. No, we do not. We are manufacturers of Admiral, Logger King, King Strap and Rain Forest and will only supply to retail stores.

Q. Where can I buy your products?

A. Our products are sold throughout Canada and in some parts of U.S.A.. List of dealers can be obtained upon request.

Q. What is the difference between Admiral raingear & Rainforest raingear?

A. Admiral raingear is made out of 200 denier nylon with polyurethane backing, which makes the rainwear light, durable & comfortable. Rainforest is made out of 400 denier nylon with polyurethane backing, which makes the rainwear tough and tear proof.

Q. What is threshold chain speed (TCS)?

A. It is the speed measured in feet of the chain traveling per minute. Currently B. C.'s standard is 3600 tcs.

Q. What is Kevlar?

A. Kevlar is a unique fibre that is developed and manufactured by DuPont. It provides unmatched tear and puncture resistance in lightweight protective apparel. When used in chain saw pants or leggings, the result is premium protection, more comfortable than any alternatives and is therefore more likely to be worn. The lightweight actually enhances worker safety,as it reduces tiredness and increased mobility and one's ability to react quickly to danger. Kevlar is 5 times stronger than steel by weight.

Q. Does Big K Clothing meet other safety standards?

A. Yes, we do... We are Ul classified. We meet Canadian BNQ, American Pulpwood Association ... ASTMF 1897 standard.
